What we are

PasteZip is a utility that links browsers with short codes and sessions to share text and files. We don’t require accounts.

Data we process

• Clipboard text & files: Content you paste or upload so we can sync it between browsers.
• Codes & sessions: 6-character tab codes and visible #SESSIONID cookies to group tabs.
• Technical logs: Basic metadata (e.g., timestamps, IPs, user agents, error traces) for reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
• Contact messages: Messages you send us via the contact form or email.

What we don’t do

• No public indexing of your codes or sessions.
• No sale of your personal information.
• No behavioral ads.

Cookies

We set a session cookie (your #SESSIONID) to group tabs and help you re-open your set later. It’s also visible for easy sharing when needed.

Security

All sites are served over HTTPS. Access requires knowledge of a code or session. While we work to safeguard data in transit and at rest, no system is perfectly secure.

Retention

Content and logs are retained for the time necessary to operate the service and may be pruned or expired to manage storage and security.

Your choices

• Clear a session in your browser to remove local association.
• Delete tabs or files to remove their content from the service.
• Contact us to request deletion where applicable.

Children

PasteZip is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided content, contact us to remove it.

Changes

We may update this policy and will adjust the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
